It had been ten years since the curse was place. He was far off at the other end of the world and un touched and un frozen. He was able to grow and become even more handsome than he was at the age of fourteen. Those that spoke of how his looks would die out fast clearly didn't know what they were talking about. He knew he didn't need his looks to get things, he could also take them by force with magic. Yet, as he neared twenty-one he realized he should protect his looks just in case.
He used a spell, but altered it toward a painting of himself, which would allow the image of himself to grow older, but for him to remain young looking. The only thing was he had to keep the portrait hidden now and out of site. It was during a lightning storm, oh how he hated lightning storms, that he new he needed to act fast. He managed to find a rare bean and thought of a place with out magic, one with Regina, where he might be able to hide his portrait and everyone would be clueless. Which is how he had found himself in Storybrooke. He came up with an Art Gallery business and bought the space above his business as well as the surrounding businesses.
He opened up the walls and created himself a new place to live, paint, and sculpt. Yet, it took him a while to get it all done. See the town was in sort of a loop. Things didn't seem to change much in this land. Everyone seemed to walk by each other at the same time each day and say the same things. He spent all day working on his new place every day for the last month and then would walk out just before dark and head for a walk, a walk that would lead him all the way to the stables.
Drew, as everyone in town would call him, was brushing the black steed when he thought he heard footsteps. "Hello? Anyone there? " He was preparing himself not to react to whoever it was with their real names. Here he had to be Drew and keep up the persona since no one else seemed to know about their other lives.
TimeFrame: About 10 years after the curse was placed.

She was doing the same thing everyday not knowing who she truly was, but in a way the curse was kind of a blessing. Evangeline could interacted with people instead of staring down wishing that she could speak to them. If only she could grant her own wishes things would be so different. Evangeline would be with Ray holding each other closely never letting him go. But instead she was here in Storybrooke with memories that were created for her. Evangeline wore her hair loose letting the curls bounce with every step she took. Her feet were leading her out of the town square at first she was hesitant this was not her normal route but curiosity took her over.
So the brunette let her feet guide her til she came to the stables a place that she never went too, a place that was unfamiliar to her. The woman slowly approached curious yet frighten a bit of the unknown place something inside her was telling her that she was being silly that there was nothing dangerous about horses and stables. Evangeline took a step back when she heard voice. "Um." She was deciding rather to turn and walk away or approach the male voice. Taking a deep breath and slowly letting it out Evangeline walked slowly to the male. "Hi." She gave the man a small wave and smile. "I'm not bother you? Am I?" This man was by himself so she thought perhaps her presence her was bothering the man and she didn't want to bother him in anyway.

He hadn't actually expected things to change. He had made a routine of it since he arrived to story brook three years ago. Unlike the rest of the habitants who were here when the curse was first activated about ten years ago. In a way he was glad that no one knew who they were or their counterparts, it allowed hiding his portrait easier. When a woman's voice came, he half expected it to be Regina or this Snow White, who apparently liked horses, but it wasn't a voice he had heard before. Most of the people in this town wouldn't have known who he was, because he wasn't exactly from the Enchanted Forest. Their storybrooke personas wouldn't have known him much either. He hadn't been very social. More of recluse type, he spent his time with his art or in his place rather than out in and about. Though there was bar, Cady's, that he liked to go to once in a while.
He took a step around the solid black horse and looked to the entrance to see a woman "No, not a bother at all. Just brushing my horse." His name is Reginald. He picked the name out, not me." He didn't have a smile on his face when he spoke. It was more of a stoic look or that of confusion. " And I mean he literally picked out the name, just listed names and he decided to nod at Reginald." He realized people might actually like a warmer welcome, so he took the brush off his hand and moved it to his left hand as he walked over toward her. Drew extended his hand. "Sorry, where are my manner, the name's Drew."

Evangeline walked through the entrance once he had eased her mind that she was not in fact bother him at all. Tilting her head to the side she watched as he brushed the beautiful beast. She had never been so close to such a magnificent creature before, it frighten her a little to see the size of the creature. Evangeline raised her brow in confusion not understanding how a horse could pick out their name. But he explained it and she understood now, it was a very interesting way to name animal.Evangeline took a step back when he approached her but realizing what he was doing she looked at the ground feeling foolish.
"Oh, yes." She greeted him with her hand and shake it. "I'm Evangeline." The woman spoke softly. "I think, I'm scared horses." She laughed nervously. This was the first time that she ever was this close to a horse before but that is what the memory that Regina gave her. When she was human before coming the Evening Star, Evangeline was terrified of horses she went riding once and all it took was on bad fall and after that she never went near a horse again. "Do you live in Storybrooke?" The question had just popped into her head. She only talked with a few people in Storybrooke but she had never seen his face before.

"Nice to meet you Evangeline." It was a unique name she had, though he felt he had heard of that name before, something to do with a star. His eyes moved to Reginald who had calmed down after seeing the stranger. The horse was a good judge of character, you know besides for him of course. He wasn't exactly the nicest person, but he wasn't stone cold evil either. "I do, I own the town's only art gallery. Don't get much business, but I don't think I would do anything else." He decided not to comment on her scared of horses comment right away. Dorian moved away from Reginald and placed the brush on it's hook before exiting the stall and closing the gate. After locking it up he leaned against the gate with his elbow resting on top. "If you don't mind my asking, what is someone afraid of horses doing at the stables? Here to conquer your fears?" His view was blocked as Reginald decided to stick his head over the gate. It was very weird to him that the horse picked the name Reginald to begin with, that was his father's name. There wasn't a moment when he was here that that thought wouldn't cross his mind. "Because if that's so, he moved away from the gate so that he could see the woman's face once more. " I can help" Why was he helping? He shouldn't be helping, he should just leave and go back to his place. Yet, the idea of someone being scared of horses for the rest of their lives wasn't something he wished on anyone. They could be really helpful if needing to get somewhere. Regina Mills had taught him how to ride and he was very thankful for that.

Art Gallery, she thought. The brunette had not yet visited the place, well to think about it Evangeline wondered when did they get an art gallery in the small town. She shook her head slightly it didn’t matter but she did find out a little about the stranger. “A painter.” She smiled a little. Evangeline had a confused look on her face as she tried to think of why she came here in the first place. “In all honestly I don’t know. I lived here for…so long and never came this close to a horse before.” Evangeline looked away from the man as she spoke but instead watching the creature. She shook her head and took a step back. “No I am quite fine with two feet firmly on the ground.” But a part of her wanted to get close to reach out. But instead she brushed her hair back from her face so she could see the man. "So you paint for a living? Why come to a small town?" She asked, tempting to turn the conversation into something more pleasant. Evangeline didn't mean to sound like she was asking fifty million questions, but the more she stood at the stables the more tempted she was to actual ride but her mind was saying no and her body was telling her otherwise.

"Painter, Sculpture, Framer, that would be me" He watched the young woman's face. He could tell by the way she was trying avoid eye contact with horse that she wanted to look at the horse. Dorian liked to think he could read people well and this lady certainly wanted to get over her fear, but her fear was holding her back. "I've been here as long as I can remember. I don't know, never though of leaving. I love my space, I have everything set up so that I can create whatever I need to. Tons of windows to ventilate. Why would any artist leave their perfect shop?" The truth was, he had only been here for about three years, but what he had found out in that time period was that those around him that came with the curse had no memories of how long they had been in town or had their jobs. The only way for Dorian to keep up his appearances was to act the same way.
"Reginald here is a bit picky with who rides him. I suggest this one, Daisy, I don't think her owner would mind if you took her out for a spin and if so they can deal with me." He hand his arm resting on Daisy's gate as the horse came over to greet him his hand lifted to run along it's snout. "I think tonight is the night you start working on that fear of yours. It's like riding a bike, falling over and scraping your knee, but you have to get back up and just try again." Dorian had no clue what a bike was or how to ride it. He had just heard the expression somewhere and thought it was appropriate for the situation.

The winds begin to pick up something deep inside was telling her that she was not suppose to be here, that she should somewhere else in Storybrooke. The longer Evangeline stood here the more nervous she became. But she wasn’t making any movement to run in the other direction she stood in her spot listening to Drew as he spoke about living in Storybrooke forever. They both lived in the small town forever but yet this was their first time actually meeting it should been weird some type of clue but Evangeline just brushed it off.
Evangeline shifted uncomfortable, and took another step back. “Wait what am I doing?” She asked quickly her eyes widened. “No.” She replied shaking her head. “A bike?” Evangeline repeated. A horse and bike were two different things anyone could see that. She took a deep breath and let it out slowly, this was crazy she thought. “If I’m killed, am coming back to haunt you understand?” The woman was serious as she took light breaths in and out calming down her nerves. Finally Evangeline was much calmer she pulled down her dark blue knitted sweater that started to ride up as it was getting to small for her. Slowly Evangeline approached Daisy and Drew with caution watching the movements of the horse as she slowly got close. Slowly Evangeline put out her hand to gently touch the massive horse but even though she thought that she was calm the woman hand was shaky.

Dorian watched Eva as she started to panic. He couldn't force her to do something he was uncomfortable with, but if she was to be around why not try. Standing around and just talking wasn't something Dorian liked to do. Nor did Dorian like helping people, but it was because her problem dealt with horses that he was willing to help. Regina had taught him about horses and it was the one time he actually remembered being happy, not happy about something dark, but just generally happy. When riding on a horse everything else sort of melted away.
"It's okay, she won't bite." He tried to sound sympathetic, but he knew it probably didn't sound as sincere as he might have liked it to come across. The shaggy haired young man looked around to see if anyone else was coming, but he doubted it. "Look, you don't have to do that. You can just turn around and walk on home, but I'm going to go for a ride on my horse. You are welcome to take Daisy, and I can help you up, but I'd like to take Reginald out soon." He looked over the woman waiting to see what her body gestures would tell him.
